These gardens are a pleasant place to have a wander. You can walk around the lake (I recommend the Japanese section and the island for something a bit different), and see the orchids and the fernery. Nothing spectacular, but good for anyone passing through Ararat.

This is a nice place to break a road trip, and have lunch or coffee in these nice relaxing gardens. It's easy to spend some quality time here, just enjoying the peace and quite of these lovely country gardens.

Always a place that is lovely to visit, the gardens are so beautiful and peaceful...so many gorgeous old trees and plants. The change of season time, Spring and Autumn are the best times to visit

great place to go for a picnic lunch or bbq.pleasant setting by the lake.well maintained gardens easy access toilets etc.kids can feed the ducks or use the well equiped play area. great for familys or couples
