Located in Eltham, Victoria.It is an Australia oldest artist colony.Currently used for exhibition, wedding,performances and reception.

We visited here recently and it was such an interesting adventure seeing how guitars are made and the passion displayed by the artists. The architecture was amazing too

A must see, long time favourite, wander through the grounds and see the beauty of Montslvat, the buildings and the sculptures amazing and the gallery is worth a look, beautiful cafe, i love the outdoor area in summer, fantastic place to visit.

It gives you a sample of what the artists of the time aimed to achieve. It needs to be visited. it is a historic place about the past and how they did build this community to host art and culture in Eltham.

To the best of my knowledge, the main "baronial hall" had several buffalo roasting size fireplaces which obviously were used. Apart from that, no, I did not see any other heating.
