The Wharfinger House Museum is jam packed with the local Derby History. A must stop when in Derby but you must get a key from the Derby Visitor Centre.

With a huge amount of history contained in the Wharfinger House Museum allow yourself plenty of time to have a good explore. The key as mentioned must be collected from the Visitor Centre as this museum is run by volunteers and cannot be manned.

An amazing array of items are on display that will take you back to yesteryear. However they need better preservation if visitors in the future are to see them

you have to go to the tourist office for the key, you let yourself in, turn on the lights and there are great displays of local history each room covers a separate topic, its well worth a visit
