a good place to get some local knowledge but ask how long they have lived there. A new staff member member may not be as useful.

We went in on a Saturday during school holidays and they close at noon both Saturday and Sunday. Many more tourists were also turning up after this time and found it to be closed like us. The ladies were helpful when it was open on the Monday. There was a lack of souvenir options too as we had people we... More

We have information on our notice boards outside the centre, which includes accommodation providers, as well as holiday planners. Esperance is a friendly town and local... More

Don't forget to do the port tour, its run on a Saturday at 1.30pm.. call in at the visitors centre for all the info, if you get Derrick as the guide , then you get all the information you will need, you are taken on a bus and a donation is requested.. well worth doing while in Esperance WA

We went to ask if they had stickers to place on our caravan (as we are travelling around Australia I put a sticker of every place we stay) and the young girl there barely spoke to us and just pointed in the direction where they were. We didn't dare ask anything else as we could see we were bothering her... More

The young lady who served us seemed impatient and fed up to be helping us. However it was still morning so i can forgive this. However we were then told some information about camping in the park that turned out to be incorrect. The only plus side to the visitor center was that they have a good selection of free... More
