Let us help you book your tickets for scenic tours, events or an exciting theatre show. We have electronic pedal-assist trikes available for hire for a unique way to tour our town. The Centre boasts a fine selection of handmade gifts and souvenirs, each one expertly hand crafted by our talented locals. From one-off jewellery pieces and decorative timber home wares, to gourmet condiments and regional history and natural history books, you can take home a piece of our beautiful region. Our Visitor Centre is located in the centre of the CBD and has ample parking for cars, caravans and RVs. The Centre is also a short walk from the train station, cinema, supermarket and the town’s many cafe’s/restaurants. The Centre is fully wheelchair accessible, with automatic doors and spacious room to browse at your leisure. The Centre is adjacent to clean public toilet facilities available daily.

Compared to other wheatbelt towns we found this visitor centre very average. They need more creative displays promoting Merredin & it surrounds.However the staff are very friendly & helpfulMore

We had an unscheduled stop in Merredin and staff rearranged our ongoing train trip to Kalgoorlie no problem at all.The Visitor Centre is centrally located and has lots of information available.

Called in to find out what is happening in town. Very knowledgeable, helpful. Had a range of usual souvenirs. Worth calling in if your in the area and want some local knowledge.

We went in for a look and to ask the times for the Railway Musuem. Very helpful staff and also lots of hand crafted items for sale. Cheaper than Perth prices. Picked up lots of interesting books for future travel in West Australia. A very...More

On a few occasions during our two day stay in Merredin we found ourselves in here asking for help. On all occasions Robin couldn't have been more helpful and pointed us in the right direction every time. Thanks Robin for being so approachable.

I stopped in here in my way from Perth got Kalgoorlie and the lovely ladies manning the visitor centre were very lovely, friendly and helpful. They were helpful in pointing me to a cafe for a healthy lunch, and also the local petrol stations. Must...More
