LOTS of City history with shipwreck history & memorabilia, lots of historical artifacts & documents. LOTS of pictures of historical significance, Hurricane storm damage from Hazel etc. So interesting.

Toured this museum while visiting Southport over Memorial Day weekend. Lots of extremely interesting exhibits. A periscope that you could scan 360 degrees of the area outside. Good for kids. They had a game where they gave the kids a list of things to find....More

Tuesday through Saturday, 10-5, year round. Check on holidays, however even on the 4th they are open, but for limited hours.
