It was a welcome break from the heat, and an amazing step back in to the past. The layout is very good and accessable by wheelchair. The staff are very knowledgeable and love to talk. Some great things to look at.

Stopped in on a visit to the Riverwalk in Southport. It is a nice museum with lots of interesting information on this Historic Coastal Community. They had many well presented artifacts and the Periscope is a fun addition. We enjoyed our visit!

This is a great little museum and best of all it is free. They have great artifacts and several hands on exhibits, we all enjoyed the periscope that lets you view the other areas around Southport.
