Trinity United Methodist church was established in 1798. The current church building was erected in 1889 by ship builders Henry and J.N. Daniel with help from church member, S.W. Lehew. The sanctuary features two of the area’s best stained-glass windows, Carolina pine diagonally paneled walls, and a beaded ceiling. The clapboard exterior includes shingle-style detailing and a gabled bell tower. Al

We attended service on the Sunday of Memorial Day weekend. Gorgeous wooden interior. We were told that it was built by a 19 year old ship builder. And it did reflect that style. Very friendly congregation.

Several of us were part of a memorial service last weekend. The Trinity members treated us like we'd been a part of their church family forever.

We are not Methodist and did not attend a service here but accepted the invite on the sign "open for Prayer" It is a great old church and worth visiting and saying a prayer no matter what religion you are.

Recently there for a family wedding. The church is so pretty and looks great for its age. Very well maintained. I would definitely recommend it.

Food provided by church volunteers was plentiful and tasty. The set up with the large round tables was a little tight, but they were able to accommodate at least 200 people. The sound system in the room was excellent.
