Hurricane Matthew caused damage to the park in Oct 2016 so the lake area was empty and some areas were inaccessible; however, the place is beautiful and quiet. The trail is in/out and very easy.

The lady in the office deserves a raise! She was so helpful and nice to us! This park was very well kept. I was impressed! Can't imagine how awesome it would be if the lake was still there.. the dam broke in 2016 and now...More
