What a really neat venue. An old, renovated theater, with a connection to the nearby East Carolina University Drama Department, and the subsidized Community Arts Program, it is quite a wonderful experience. We have seen several shows there including song artists, Broadway shows, and local...More

Very nice renovated old theater. The sound was wonderful and the seats are very comfortable. Right on Main Street in old downtown Washington. There are plenty choices of restaurants with in walking distance. Concessions are available inside but no alcohol is allowed in the auditorium.

I love this little, restored theatre. They often have cheap events (I saw The Labyrinth, for I think around $5) playing old movies like Rocky Horror, Top Gun, and various kids movies. A small bit of concessions are available as well as beer and wine....More

This theater was re-furbished and remodeled about 10 years ago. After getting into trouble once again, the Arts Council has taken it over. This is a great venue for old school wide screen CinemaScope movies as well as live entertainment.
