Definitely one of the, if not the, best craft biers available. It's time to stop the crap North Carolina and lift the CAP on craft breweries! Let it flow!

Nit only is the beer the best but touring the brewery is great too. They do brewery tours in Friday's with tastings. Coming soon in the summer - the new bier garden.

The word "tour" may get some people to hype their expectations. This is a small craft brewery, they only tour on Friday's starting at 3 PM SHARP and the tour is likely to be crowded. Arrive at least 15 minutes early as most tours are heavily attended. We found one of the last parking spaces. The brewery will NOT be... More

We stopped here because my boyfriend loves Red Oak beer and we happened to be in the area. I will say the tour times/dates are very frustrating because they only give tours at 3pm on Fridays. So if you happen to be in the area, then it's worth the quick stop, but it could be really hard to work into... More

They have tours on Fridays. They walk you through the brewery and explain everything. Takes about an hour. Then they have tasting after the tour. It was a good time.

Be sure to check for tour times and schedule your tour beforehand. This is America's largest lager only craft brewery. The beers are excellent. The staff is very friendly. The brewery is just off the I-40/ I-85.

We noticed Red Oak Brewery numerous times while riding I-85 and while traveling with my 2 adult children, we decided to stop on a Monday afternoon, When we pulled in, we saw signs that tours were offered on Friday afternoons but that they were open for sales. We walked in and saw an attractive woman in the office. Obviously our... More

Our family came to Greensboro to visit from PA. We decided to go to Red Oak Brewery. It was crowded and we had to wait in a small lobby. The entire tour consisted of the brew master talking. We stood in two crowded rooms seeing virtually nothing. They were not bottling anything so we just saw machines standing still. The... More

BEST BEER EVER! Enough said. Smooth, full flavor, refreshing. The guys who work at the brewery are a hoot! Go for a Friday tour and let them crack you up, then finish by tasting some of this amazing beer. Even friends of ours that say "I don't like beer" try this and say "um ok I didn't know beer could... Tour only Friday 3: pm. Brewmaster from true German heritage and brewing degrees. This is non pasteurized true brew in the German tradition. Excellent tour of how beer is brewed and tasting after tour. Tasting, in fact very generous tasting and a souvenir glass and Red Oak Ale opener. Price is $15 for tour with about 100 people on tour...
