Thalian Hall is a beautiful structure that has housed the Thalian Society, founded in the late 1700s, for 150 years. It's a beautiful venue that is full of history and it hosts wonderful events. There are a lot of steps, this is an old facility so be prepared. Parking is a hassle as it is downtown but there are garages... More

The whole audience on their feet for Priscilla, Queen of the Desert. The bar has certainly been set high. Truly a wonderful performance, standing ovation. A gorgeous venue.

Over the years my wife and I have visited Thalian Hall many times for plays and musicals. The production companies have always done a great job in bringing a "Little Bit of Broadway" to Wilmington. The theater itself is just a beautiful facility that is expertly maintained and all of its workers and volunteers do a fantastic job in keeping it... More

We were with a large group so it was tight at times but a real pleasure, we were lucky enough to have Tony Rivenbark, the Executive Director (and an Actor) share much of his time for our group. Very informative and well executed as a tour. Hope to see a show there soon

My husband and I, along with our daughter and granddaughter, attended last night's performance and it was wonderful. We enjoyed every moment of this event. The cast was so talented and very professional. The sets were amazing. We enjoyed every facet of this event in this beautiful, ornate hall. We consider our ticket price a very small amount for the... Old theater charm. Can be chilly if going during cooler weather months. Seats are typically uncomfortable.

A very big part of Historic Wilmington! See a play or go to a concert. An old kinda intimate venue that my wife and I have enjoyed for many years. It was beautifully restored.

We had not been to Thalian Hall since it was restored several years ago and it is a wonderful theatre for a live performance. We saw the Donald Sinta Quartet, a group of saxophonists who play mostly classical music and their performance was excellent. We sat downstairs, seats in the theatre are very comfortable, there is plenty of leg room... More
