Not a very great zoo from my last visit

The animals here were in not so roomy cages and our area once had a protest against this place because of that. I cant remember if they let you take photos or not.

A stop at Tregembo Animal Park is well worth a couple hours of your time and that of your Family as well. The exhibits are extremely well presented, the Staff is very professional and visible during our visit and it is very easy to view a large variety of well cared for animals.Robert and Rita are great operators, the Zoo... I am a frequent visitor at this zoo, so I can personally attest to the condition and care of the animals. The main point of my review is to clarify some misperceptions I have read on some reviews. Each and every animal has fresh, clean water. In the enclosures where you don't see "a bucket or dish", these animals have... More

The Zoo looks small from the road but it is a lot bigger in the inside. Lots of great animals to see. Our family had a wonderful experience.

This is an ok zoo . It is small and limited animals . Lots of monkeys . Peacocks, ducks roam around free. Worth the money just to check it out.

This is the saddest zoo i have ever visited. The enclosures are far too small and every one of the animals looked miserable. My family and I couldn't even finish walking through because of how sad it was. I would not recommend this zoo to any animal lovers. I regret giving them any money whatsoever. I will not be coming... I have been to this zoo many times and have never been disappointed. The enclosures are clean and the animals seem to be cared for. They have a museum of "Ripley's" type items just to the right after you enter the zoo. There are small gum vending machines with corn or the food for that particular animal that you can... More

Obviously you are one of those left leaning liberals that think all animals in captivity should be allowed to run free. I know for a fact all of the animals in this incredibly well run private zoo are all second third and fourth generation animals, raised in zoos all over the United States and are exchanged about to prevent diluting the gene pool with inbreeding. And this practice has been going on for more than 50 years. The only danger to these animals are the gutless imbeciles that come in and harass the animals, throw objects like lighted cigarettes and other inedible parcels like coins and rocks at the animals. Of course they are quickly ejected from the Zoo and banned from reentry.I have know the Owners for more than 50 years, worked at the Zoo in the mid 60's and have observed the current Son and Daughter and Granddaughter and other long time employees hundreds of times in the past and present and have never seen any employee mistreating any animal. And believe me, every animal and their enclosures are closely monitored by the Federal Government and State agencies and they watch the activities of the Zoo very closely and on a very regular basis. And speaking dedication, Rob and Rita are in the business for the love of it much more that the profit they earn, not many people would put up with the drivel and abuse they have heaped on them by people like you and your associates. Many others have tried and failed in this area and other private zoos around the Country. I have always like to visit this Zoo because one doe not have to walk nearly a half to enter the facility, and several miles up and down hills to see animals is their displays, and this includes San Diego, Washington DC, St Louis, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Bronx, Berlin Germany, and dozens more that have slipped my memory---but I have photos in many of them, and none are perfect.
