My mom, sister and I had a nice time exploring the downtown area. It wasnt very diverse but the shops were okay. There was a very good, well-known ice cream parlor. The view of the harbor was nice.

Enjoy shops, food and a little history. Many people stay at the beach and don't consider downtown. With so much history and good food, it is worth the visit. Enjoy an ice cream, toffees or coffees in many establishments or just walk by the river...More

The down town area of Wilmington has many shops to visit, many midday ,afternoon and sunset tours to choose from on land and water, if restaurants are your vise there’s a large group to choose from along the water front.
