Great children's museum!

We have taken our grandkids to other kids' museums, but this one was the best! Just try to avoid the busy times.

I try to take my kids here monthly. They have a lot of different areas for kids to play in. Sometime they have special guests and events going on there, so you should check the website or Facebook page to see what will be going on. There is a lot of hands on learning activities for the kids to do... More

My only disappointment is my kid is grown! We would have utilized this wonderful facility constantly had it been available when he was younger! I recently attended a birthday party for a friend's child. This place sparks the imagination and made me want to be a kid again!

The Children's Museum is the second of Two fantastic gifts that the WS Junior League has given to WS. The first was Sciworks, the children's science museum that my own children adored for years. The two museums will be joining forces in a combined facility in 4-5 years thanks to the visionary leadership of both board. The children's museum is... More

I took my grandchildren (ages 6 and 8) for an afternoon adventure and they loved it! We ended up staying until closing. Each area they entered was their 'favorite', although from observing them I believe they liked the beanstalk the best -- they made at least two dozen trips to the top! Other areas where they lingered: Krispy Kreme donuts,... More

We've taken our kids there several times and they've had a great time. There isn't much for older kids (7+), but lots for the little ones to do.

After Leaving Old Salem, my 9 year old niece wanted to go here. While she and I did enjoy it and there are several things that was appropriate for her age ... I think the 2 - 6 or 7 year olds would find even more to do.

My grandsons, 3 and 5, thoroughly enjoyed their afternoon here. They didn't get bored or run out of things to do. Also fun for adults to watch them learn and experience new things.

Bring the kiddies here and let their imaginations run wild! Also, enjoy their events, storytime, & workshops in addition to the fun they will have experiencing the museum itself. My kids went for their birthdays with cousins and had a blast playing together on every floor. If you're a teacher your admission is free w/ ID, children under 1 are... More
