I so enjoyed this visit. Our guide was amazing and so helpful. Others tell the turtle story in their review. I want to say, with the massive anti-plastic campaign in swing, my visit just underlined an emotional response to nature. Thank you to all the...More

The resort is small and very simple, but they are doing an important job. They buy turtle eggs from fishermen and others who find the eggs on the beach - thats how your contribute would spend. They bury the eggs and nets to prevent birds...More

This centre was very informative and their purchasing of eggs from the locals, incubation and release program is a great step in the protection and conservation of sea turtles. However, the tanks for the resident disabled (unable to be released) turtles are much too small...More

We visited today and saw turtles ready to be released at 3 days to 1 day old. There were turtles also that were born without limbs and those that had suffered at the hands of nets, boats etc. Hopefully our donations go to improving this...More

The visit was quite informative as we didn't know about the 5 species of turtles that nest in this area. The guide was enthusiastic about the project, but insisted that we handle the young turtles, which are hatched at the facility, then released into the...More

The babies are released on evening of day three of their lives. I do not know if the general public can take part! I suggest you either ring them, email or ask on their facebook page! Good luck!
