A great place to visit in Minot

A nice place for a walk to see unique Scandinavian statues and buildings. The grounds are kept up nicely.

We were visiting for shopping and decided to stop by to check it out. Not much to talk about. Just some walkway around the area with a few structures as shown on pics. Did not tickle my fancy.

My wife and I went for a wee walk. It started snow and was great! Lovely little park. Great volunteers!

It's a very nice place and we'll kept. It's quite educational. The gift shop has some nice and interesting items with reasonable price. Time well spent.

We spent the night in Minot on our way to Canada and happened on the Scandinavian Heritage Park. Very interesting tribute to the those from Scandinavia who settled in the area. I wish we'd have been there earlier in the day as I'd like to have gone in to the Stavkirke. I visited one in Norway back in the 70's... More

Not sure if the buildings were closed to visitors because of the time of year and was disappointed we couldn't check them out. Went into the visitor center and was not greeted by anyone.

Stopped at the Scandinavian Heritage Park on Sunday after Hostfest. The visitor center and sauna were not opened, but we were able to walk around the grounds and visit the Stave Church, giant Dalahast and several of the typical country homes. The carving of the church is outstanding. What a treat to be able to see this type of church... More

This park is located in the heart of Minot and readily accessible from the highways. Well done and a pleasant way to spend an hour or so.
