If you want a glimpse into life in this area during the 1950-1970 period, this is a wonderful place to visit. Several old buildings have been moved here (some built in the early 1900s), and extensive items from the period have been collected.

Stopped in here with time to kill and there went two and a half hour. Entrance is by donation. Lots of history and rather open to the public which is nice. They try to target before 1950 and did quite well. The houses are small...More

A very well maintained historical site right in Dawson Creek, this is a great place to check out for an hour or so. A great way to teach kids about history!

This is a great place to learn about the history of Dawson Creek area. Stroll along the wooden boardwalk visiting the different buildings from around the area. There are antiques from people from the area and their lifestyle of the early 1900s. Would have spent...More

Glad we caught this a couple of days before it closed for the season at the end of Sept. Something for everyone: the history buff, the antique and collector hound, the old vehicle and machinery enthusiast, etc. Make this a stop on your trip through...More

Nice to be able to walk around at your own pace and view the different settings. They don't have an admission fee, but ask for a donation. I liked the log cabin the most. The way they had it set up looked like someone actually...More

There is a hall that is part of the Village. It is called the Sudeten(sp?). There is a Kitchen in it and a stage and room for 50 plus people. You have to call them directly to see if it is available.
