A great way to spend 2 hours enjoying mechanisms and tools of bygone days. Very knowledgable host and some unique items not seen elsewhere.

Great Visit

Whether you are a hobbyist, antique collector, enjoy history, etc there should be something here for everyone. Herb gives a private tour and he makes this stop well worth it. I enjoyed the tour and talking to Herb very much. I recommend donating generously at the end. To me it
was worth a lot more than the $5.00 donation he asks for.

Fantastic collection

Herb Higginbottom gives tours of his extensive collection of antique tools and machinery. As he has been gathering for over 50 years, he has many unique items not seen elsewhere. Many of the machines are in working order and are demonstrated. Plan two hours if you are the hands-on type. Well worth the time! Entry by donation-please be generous!

The owner was delightful with his stories and antidotes while taking us through his extensive collection of artifacts.

Fun even if you're not a tool guy (or gal)

I have to agree with the other reviewers. This deserves a 5/5. It is a one-man operation and a labour of love by the proprietor. You get a personal tour conducted by him and he knows what he is talking about. Power tools, hand tools, industrial tools, domestic tools, farm tools, on and on and on it goes. If you have a real interest in the history of these technologies as I do it is fascinating. But my wife, who has no special interest in rusty old tools declared that she thoroughly enjoyed the visit too. Takes about an hour and at the end you can make a $5 / person donation. Well worth it if you are in the Enderby or Salmon Arm area.

The place is very interesting and you get your personal guided tour. It's worth while taking the time. There's more to see than you think. There's a suggested $5 Donation.

Got there too late, it had just closed. But we got a picture with the giant lawnmower, and the man that owned the museum offered to take the picture and gave us information. He was very nice! Would love to go back and view the collection at some point. Cool!

Many tools of interest - and lots of history. Proprietors knowledgeable and informative. Worth a little detour off the highway to pay a visit.
