Traveled to Port McNeil for a camping vacation, decided to go to Alert Bay via BC Ferries. Was rainy but a very enjoyable trip. The crew were friendly and helpful.

The ferries were clean, spacious and efficiently operated/managed. We arrived to lanes of cars, vans and commercial vehicles and without a reservation going to the island. We were able to walk about the nearby community as we waited for the next early morning ferry. Reservations...More

Clean, punctual ferries affording fantastic views on the Vancouver to Vancouver island trip. Do not take the quick route, despite the travel time this route is not to be missed and BC Ferries commitment to their customers was evident throughout. Great way to travel in...More

We very much enjoyed our journey between Port McNeill and Alert Bay. Great staff with a keen interest in our next steps in Vancouver Island. Just wish there was a sign telling us where to buy tickets before getting to the gate!

We had four trips on BC ferries around holiday time. At all times the ferries were on time. The staff were super courteous even though it was busy. They really took pride in their roles. Congratulations BC ferries!
