We stopped here on our bus tour to see this burial mound which had been placed here by the Maritime Archaic Aboriginal people over 7500 years ago. It is the oldest burial monument in North America. Wrap your head around that!

If you are a history buff then definitely worth a stop for you. Not really much to see but you read all about it.

Not a long visit, and this one you can just park and read the display. I wish they had a bit more info and pictures of the discovery. Very moving to contemplate a 5200 year old burial site.
