Nice scenic area around the lighthouse and interesting to see the history of this area where the Mary Celeste (the ghost ship) was built. Many good historical photos etc. Inside the Lighthouse. No charge but a small donation helps them to maintain these for people...More

Spent about 15 minutes here in the lighthouse and on the beach. Not particularly worth the pull-off unless you need a snack at the restaurant. Better views at Parrsboro and more to do.

This lighthouse was so full of local history. It was such a wonderful learning experience. Thank you to the host of the lighthouse sharing a little bit of history of Spencer's Island with me and my family.

Houses small museum that takes about 15 minutes to exhaust. Hard to believe they used to build ships outdoors, on the beach. The view of the Bay and the Island are most enjoyable. Small camping area adjacent. Pretty basic but with a view!

Displays of photos and relics are inside, which help understand the context of the lighthouse and people/ships of the area. And a bonus... climb the sturdy stairs for a great view from above... and note the bulb they have in the "light" fixture!

The lighthouse is easily accessible and is well worth the stop. The beach is just beyond, and offers an opportunity for a stroll.

Very accessible for camping, boating, picnic and interesting to go inside and see the exhibit and climb the ladders. Bring a picnic or camp for the night.
