Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Reminiscent of European cathedrals, beautiful inside and out! We found the doors open and we were able to freely wander about. It’s a distinguishable landmark from far away....

Very big Church located in Cheticamp which is very beautiful for picture opportunity. We had the opportunity to drive and stop for a quick visit. I recommend it if you are in visiting churches.

An architectural marvel on way to Cabot Trail. See the beauty from the outside and if the door is open, you can see the amazing construction and decoration.

This building is simply breathtaking. An unexpected gem in this small, seaside town, this church is a must-see landmark. We stayed in Cheticamp with family who insisted we stop at the church during our stay, not only to see their parish, but hear the acoustics (we're musicians). We were blown away by the beauty of the church and sang some acappella harmonies while inside. WOW! The sound was incredible! There was a small bus tour that heard us and they thought they were getting a free show. Went upstairs to see the organ and the view. Again, WOW! Bought a few postcards, made a donation and lit a candle. What a beautiful building. Stop in and look around, you won't regret it!

The brown stones that were used in the construction of this church immediately catch your eye. It is situated on a small rise adjacent to the Main Street. It is beautiful inside and the ceilings and walls have magnificent paintings and murals. It is welcoming and worth the time to stop and visit it. The roof and spire are made from galvanized steel which I found to be unusual, especially in a sea coast church.

The church's amazing exterior caught our attention and we parked the car because we saw an open side door. We ventured in and were delighted to see such beauty. The place was spotless, well painted and inviting to the eye. The wall paintings, the statutes, the woodwork, the organ and two tiers were amazing! The history, artefacts and the mausoleum were interesting to see and know the history.

On our “Cabot Trail” trip we stopped in the small town of “Cheti Camp”, this to make a short visit.
As we do have allot of churches in Portugal, we are always interested to make a visit to a church whenever we have the opportunity, and when the church is open to visit.
Being so, we visited the “Saint Peters´s Catholic Church” on the water front, and the monuments in front of it.
And to be honest, the church is allot different as the ones we do have in Portugal, but she is not less nice than ours, and is worht the visit. Enough place to park the car, and toilets into the church into the lower part wher you have a small mausoleum,

Historic church that can be seen throughout Cheticamp. Take a visit inside - very interesting! I think it is only open during the day.
