Would give 5 stars except for the having to deal with the nastiest woman in Canada(I think her name was Mary) working at reception. She almost made us decide not to even bother staying. But after having to put up with her, everything else was...More

We took the tour in the distillery in Glenville. There were about 15 people who paid for it. We learned all about how to make whiskey, the Scottish way. The tour took 15 minutes and after that they gave us the opportunity to try their...More

We stopped by the Distillery for the tour on our way for dinner in Mabou. It is a very short tour and the prices for the whisky are very high. The tour is interesting- they were not distilling when we were there. The grounds are...More

We didn't have time to do the tour, so we went to the bar to do a tasting. The bar tender was a nice young woman who could double for Jennifer Lawrence. They offer a variety of well-priced tasting "flights". I did a selection of...More

Driving the Ceiliah Trail and decided to stop at the Glenora Distillery. Knew nothing about single malt whisky (spelled without the 'e'). Not whisky drinkers but the tour was informative, the dining room and food were great, the grounds were very beautiful.

It was a unique experience to tour the distillery, to see how single malt whisky is produced. But the grounds were the highlight. Just beautiful.

This gorgeous place is the only distillery in Canada that makes single malt scotch whiskey. The pub has good food and often has Celtic music. The tour was interesting and we got to sample 10yo scotch whiskey. The music was great but on Sunday only...More
