This tiny but lovely little cascade decends downstream on private property. It is viewed from a small plarform fenced in behind the Hermitage Gatehouse. The recently restored Hermitage Ruins on the Dundas Conservation lands is worth the walk aling the gravel path.

A lovely place, perfect for a day trip or BBQ n great for hiking. Loved it n would like to be there any time soon. 10$ parking n 5$ each person entry fee is worthwhile.

If you're lucky enough to get here when there aren't a crowd of people, you'll be able to capture the beauty of these falls. Bring a comfy pair of shoes and a backpack full of snacks.

Lots of nice small waterfalls to see, may be better to visit in the summer to see the falls. Some were blocked with snow, others frozen over.

Griffin Falls is a gem. The problem for people wanting to see this spot, is that if you rely on directions from the internet you may never get there. One set of directions, repeated quite often, is that the Falls "are behind Griffin House" which...More
