Just a few minutes off the road so you can stop and stretch your feet. It was a beautiful day and the giant cow was really cool! You can hike up behind the cow for a bit and see even more awesome views. Worth the...More

This stop was right off of our path so thought we may as well stop. It was something to see. I’ve seen lots of Holsteins but this is by far the largest I’ve ever seen! This is not too far off of the interstate, however,...More

North Dakota loves its road art, and Salem Sue is just one of those things we felt compelled to see close up. Sue stands high on a hilltop visible from I-94. For a close-up look, exit at mile marker 127 and drive 0.4 mile. Turn...More

We arrived at Salem Sue at night. She was a beacon of beauty... all illuminated in the night. There is no way one can possibly miss seeing her... nor should they!

You cannot miss seeing her from afar. But to appreciate her enormous stature, you have walk up to her and see how big she really is. Great view of the area from the statue. Young and old will enjoy seeing her.

Can be seen on the expressway for at least a mile. She's 38 feet high and well-maintained. A switchback dirt road leads up to the statue. A fun, quick place to visit if you want to add this bit of kitsch to your travel diary.
