Love hiking here

We love Hiking here but be careful when it is slippery. And what ever you do don't jump out on rocks to take pictures selfies or of birds or otherwise.... Great views of the city... read more

Visited here to just get away from the daily stress of the busy commute and amazed by the relaxing and beautiful views off the cliff.

Part of the extensive Niagara Escarpment, the area affords fantastic views over the surrounding valley and stunning fall colours. You can follow the main trails or the more adventurous can find many excellent lookout spots along the cliff edge. There are also many caves carved into the limestone which I enjoyed climbing into and exploring.

Great place for an afternoon walk in the prestine woods, a few minutes drive from Milton. You can choose from 3k hike or a 7k hike.

Went on Oct 23/16 around 3pm - very crowded, lots of groups hiking the trails - I guess everyone is trying to take in the fall foliage on a sunny day. It's also in Milton so it's very appealing as it is not too far from the city. $13 admission fee for 2 adults. Park at the lower parking lot... More

We went on a Saturday. Busy, mainly because it was a nice sunny day. Ample parking. Hike is not that challenging. But, could be difficult for handicapped. Dogs are allowed. The directions and markings could be a little better. But, not easy to get lost !!! I would not go again. However, I feel change of colors in the fall... More

Worth the stop on my way back home. Took a bit to get there because part of Appleby road is currently closed. Drove several kms to find another way to get there -- it was the peak of fall and this year was particularly spectacular along the 401 so I was determined to see it from a high elevation --... More

Went on a trail for a hike with the hubby, another couple and their 9 yo. There was something for everyone and we all had a great time. The view was awesome from almost every angle & each point of interest had a really cool plaque with an explanation of the area & history. I'd recommend everyone check it out... More

Rattlesnake Point is one of our go-to hikes with our family. Usually our three teens go with us but today it was just my husband, our dog and I. It was a gorgeous 22C and sunny. Rattlesnake is a busy spot and we didn't arrive until just before noon. A very slight wait to show our season's pass so that... More
