The staff is helpful and the museum well-crafted for a tour of local history. They have done a fine job curating the exhibits and the museum is not so large that you feel overwhelmed.

The beautifully preserved house at the front and the exhibit space at the back combine to provide a great amount of information about early days in the Perth area -- and the admission is free.

I am a geologist and paleontologist who has literally traveled the world looking at natural history exhibits. Therefore, I was quite pleasantly surprised that there was a geological exhibit literally hidden away on the top floor of this historical museum. It was a bright, well-light,...More

Few floors of really interesting history of the area. Worth the visit with the family. Small gift shop and courtyard are nice too.
