I like this place because I went here as a kid fishing with my dad. We fished the Saugeen again but there were many anglers there at night and the rocks make it hard to negotiate. The water is very low too.

The dam and fish ladder are definitely something to see but it's out of town a short distance and not too popular so likely you'll have the place to yourself if you visit. If you like to fish plenty of spots to throw in a line and test your skills. If you like to picnic it can offer some solitude... More

Denny"s has lost its attractiveness over the years. Thye building and dam is getting old and run down and the area reflects it. There used to be regular testing of fish. And seemed to always be a hub of activity. Peaks during the trout/salmon run. But generally the parking lot area is over grown and the place run down. Garbage... More
