Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The very friendly staff, the ambience with a beautiful view over the winery and beautiful art work both in the building as on the labels of the wine. The wines were very good and all quite different which made it an interesting tasting. This was our favorite tasting in Valle de Guadeloupe!

The wines were excellent, the Tinto Hacienda is a 2020 Grand Gold metal winner. Their 100% Grenache is a real winner but didn’t win.
A bit pricey but worth the purchase for special occasions.
The only draw back are the roads getting to winery are in real need of grading. In wet weather, I would not recommend going!

One of the best Wine tasting in my trip
Our host who was Gaby super nice girl, friendly since The moment one you know when someone enjoy their job and fit in hospitality industry.
And she is one of them.
She explains you petty well
About the wines, and most of the wines are very cheap and delicious
As in Spanish we say bonito rico y barato

With Gabby as our server, we had a fabulous wine tasting experience. She was absolutely delightful and we loved each of the four wines she served us! If they had a wine club, we would have joined on the spot. Thank you Gabby. We will most definitely be back to visit on a regular basis...

Disappointed, called in advance to make a reservation, upon arrival they declined the reservation since it has to be done over the website. But yet, the reservation done over the phone; was performed and approved . They have to have proper communication within their staff in order make less errors with their clients.

Wine is overpriced for the quality, the venue is confusing, not sure I like it, too hipster I guess. Service is nice.
We made reservations because otherwise you can't visit, I think I had very high expectations and that's why I'm disappointed.

This winery was a little different than others I’ve been too, but not necessarily in a bad way. The setup was essentially a wine store upfront and then the tasting room was set on a balcony which overlooked their and other nearby vineyards - beautiful views. The murals on the wall were so vibrant and unique. Definitely a nice atmosphere. The wine was okay. In the “Premium tasting”, which included five wines, I really only liked two of them. I’m not a wine expert, but others in our party felt similarly - the last couple were the best.
I think, wine aside (I know, it’s a vineyard, it’s kind of the main attraction), the service was wonderful. The staff was very knowledgeable and they catered to us well. The atmosphere was serene and cozy. Just set your expectations and look forward to the Sacro and, I believe, the Tinto if going with the Premium tasting package. If you’re not a red wine drinker, perhaps choose the Lomita tasting package.

The experience at Lomita was incredible. Great customer service along with a stunning structure and delectable wines, we had an amazing time. We got the package for 6 wine tastings, and before we knew it, we had spent 3 marvelous hours enjoying Lomita.

Lomita has it all! Some of the best wines made in Mexico, beautiful designed tasting room and terrace with great view, outstanding hospitality. More so, one of the best restaurants in Mexico, Lunario by Chef Sheyla Alvarado. Gaby took such a great care of us, a must place to visit in Valle.

May 2022
I first want to state that I am the owner and director of a tours and transportation company in baja Mexico, my love for the region and especially the wine valley is at the highest level.
Our company did a reservation at Lomita for a group of 4 people for May 21st 2022 (we recommended this winery to this group), our driver was NOT able to make it to the reservation @Lomita and did not communicate with us since he was at Cuatro Cuatros where there is no cell service.
On May 22nd we where charged $1,200.00 pesos as stated on the Meitre's reservation app Terms and Conditions as a guaranteed consumption, (we are OK with this) we understand that as a busineess you need to secure the income since we took the space that could be used by another group.
Here is why we give your winery 1 star:
1.- I called the winery and told them that I was fine with the $1,200.00 pesos guaranteed consumption charge on our card, obviously securing their sale from our reservation / group.
2.- Told them that since I was being charged a guaranteed consumption I would stop by to get a few wine bottles covered by the ammount that was already charged to me. The girl who answered the phone said I could NOT do that and was rude on the phone. she said that the $1,200.00 was a "penalty" for not showing to the reservation (which is not stated on terms and conditions).
3.- I explained to her that I was a tours company and that the wine I wanted to collect was paid for and would be used for gifts to our customers, which would be marketing for their winery at the end of the day.
4.- This actions make the winery seem like "money hungry".
5- This had happened to us before at Monte Xanic and they where happy to provide the product that we where billed for.
Our solution is simple, we will stop promoting this winery in our tours to our customers... as a tours and transportation company we get no benefit from this or any other wine valley location. if this is how you treat a business who has been promoting your establishment at no cost to you, what can be expected when our customers visit you ?
Our Wine valley concierge is instructed to eliminate this location from any future trips, even if customer suggest including it, we will be happy to explain to them the reason why we dont drive to this location any more.
I am happy to speak with owner about this
