Lots to see and buy and eat in that area. Everything is so resonable and people very friendly. So many expats from the states and canada that you feel like you are home.

A living legend and a gourmet chef. Best dinner ever! Small and intimate, the ambiance is perfect. Plus home made ice cream!

This is a popular place to walk your dogs. There are also many park benches along the boardwalk to relax and watch the water birds. Palm trees and other exotics run along both sides of Malecon

We walked the Malecon and ate at one of several restaurants in the area. There is a nice park with shade trees along the walk way. There were no activities when we were there but there often are activities.

We walked the length of the Malecon during our recent visit to Ajijic. It was full of other walkers and families enjoying the views and the parks situated along the shore of Lake Chapala.

There are many restaurants within walking distance of where you’re staying and all are very good. My favourite is Cocinart by far! Tango is also very good with a large menu. You are in restaurant heaven so enjoy!
