We took out the 32' boat, which I recommend because it has sufficient sun cover for three to four people, not counting the captain. We signed up for the 1/2 day excursion, which stays off-shore. After four hours, we caught 6 red snappers..but only because we sided next to a boat of professional fisherman who were dropping lines with their... More

We arrived for our trip, Captain Caldo and his mate were ready & we headed out to fish. My son ended up catching the biggest... More

When everyone says the fish are not biting, go with Captain Caldo, he will find them. A magical day offshore, loading the boat to capacity with Yellow Fin and a few Bonita. No more room to put anymore fish. It was a magical following Spinner dolphins and whales all day. We had two non fisherman on board that were going... More

We booked a full day on the World Cat before our trip, and then on arrival booked a 1/2 day on the panga, scheduled ahead of our full day. We had the same crew for both days. Service and communication with Stephanie on making the booking was great. Our group got skunked on the panga but not due to any... More

Javier and Carlos took 5 of us for 4 hours. Two fathers and 3 kids. We caught 35 fish - tuna, red snapper, grouper, needle fish, etc, etc. We also saw whales and dolphins up close! What a trip! Great service, good boat, fantastic value and amazing memory!!!

We had so much fun with these folks. Beyond being just very easy going, warm, and friendly...they are really well organized. We chartered one of their vessels for our party of 5 (so amazing...). The Captain was totally awesome. Not a sightseeing operator. Like a Captain's captain. Very very skilled. Very calm. Very organized. The seas around Marieta's seem very... More

I fished with Big Tuna in the 25' panga for three out of the seven day's we were in Mexico. We fished with Caldo, Javier, Carlos, Alex and George and they were all awesome! On our first day we went off shore targeting Marlin. We ended up landing a 220lb Blue Marlin plus multiple other smaller fish. The second day... More

I had some obvious difficulties with the gear and had to initiate conversation with the captain about this (he was very communicative...but only to his son in Spanish). He seemed to accommodate his own casting position over mine. Overall, not very personable and disappointing. We did catch 7 fish.

What an amazing day of fishing. THESE GUYS KNOW THERE STUFF If you are looking to go offshore fishing look no further. Angel and Carlos said they would take us to where the big tuna were. Boy did they deliver! These guys know every inch of these waters and how to fish them. We were looking for the big one... More

I used Big Tuna last year at Easter and had no hesitation to return to them this year after some superb inshore fishing in 2015. Stephanie makes the booking process easy and this year I fished with Elias (the boss). I had asked to aim for variety both in species and tactics and this was delivered beyond my expectation. We...
