This was an excursion booked thru our Royal Caribbean cruise. These ruins are well preserved. Daniel, a Mayan, was our tour guide. He was very knowledgeable & thorough. You can climb some of the sites if you wish.

i'll agree that it was flat and wide trails but there was a lot of walking. the heat was overwhelming to me.
