- Brit_in_Mex2023Puebla, Mexico45 contributionsA lovely experienceWe thought we pop by since the cenote was down the road from out hotel. It’s not expensive at all (60 pesos for adults & 30 pesos for children). We were told there was a waiting list, but by the time we used the bathroom and had got changed, we were called over ( The changing rooms cost 5 pesos per person to use). We spent a lovely hour swimming. It’s different to the Cenotes we have visited on our last visit to Tulum, but they are very unique. Life jackets are mandatory, but not the best. For the price and location, definitely worth a visit.Visited November 2023Travelled with familyWritten 1 November 2023
- D L S54 contributionsCenter of town cenoteEasily accessible Cenote. Restaurant on site. Changing room and facilities available, reasonable admission cost. This Cenote is not as clean and clear as others but it is convenient. Both parking lot and street parking available if you’re driving.Visited February 2024Travelled soloWritten 10 February 2024

- KeniaMexico City, Mexico28 contributionsNice cenoteI went on November 30 with my boyfriend, where we stayed we walked 10 minutes to get to this cenote. The stay is for 1 hour if I remember correctly, which I didn't like that it was limited. It has a restaurant, we didn't eat there, but that gives us a plus to visit and take advantage of it to eat as well.Visited November 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 28 February 2024
- GrahamP113Witham, United Kingdom2,017 contributionsSinkhole swimJust an incredible spot to swim. Very cold water and a lot of rough steps before a more even set towards the bottom. Would recommend beach shoes but worth every step on such a hot day to cool in the waters. BeautifulVisited April 2024Travelled as a coupleWritten 21 April 2024
- Carla T14 contributionsAn oasis in the city heatIt’s a cenote in the heart of the city. There’s a good mix of local families and tourists. Does get a little crowded but we were spoiled by having a few cenotes to ourselves on our travels. Theres a few places to jump and some little fish, so a nice place to snorkel. The entrance fee isn’t that expensive but the facilities are quite basic - which we really didn’t mind. Overall it was a nice place to get out of the heat.Visited April 2024Travelled with friendsWritten 8 May 2024
- Erick_RmzMexico126 contributionsAt hand and affordableGreat location just few steps from city center, to refresh from the day's heat. I paid 60 pesos for one hour in the cenote, but if there is few people inside, may be they will allow you to stay a bit longer. There is a change room with showers, but there is not anything inside for take a seat when you're changing your clothes, not even a hanger. Only floor and walls. Some seats would be very appreciated there. They charge 5 pesos to use it.Visited April 2024Travelled as a coupleWritten 15 May 2024
- Christian S17 contributionsBest thing was the high cliff jump, pretty alsoParking was difficult. It's in the middle of a town. The (free) lot only holds like a dozen cars, then there is street parking around the cenote, but it's being used by people in the town, not just people going to the cenote. It was only $4USD to get in, which was by far the least expensive cenote we visited. They had bathrooms for like 30 cents. Life jackets are optional, but I would suggest taking one down. It's a big cenote, so swimming the whole time would be tiring. This cenote is pretty, but the main enjoyable feature for us was cliff jumping. You can jump from five feet right from the area that most people enter. You may be able to jump from about ten feet at the top of the stair area, but nobody jumped from there, so I'm not sure. What we enjoyed the most was jumping from the platform that is probably thirty feet high. No other cenote we visited had anything close to that high. I tried to jump from a place where there was a break in the wall that was probably thirty five feet, but the lifeguard blew a whistle at me to not do it. There is supposedly a man-made waterfall that they only turn on Saturdays and Sundays, but we weren't there for that. It looks like it would be pretty.Visited July 2024Travelled with familyWritten 1 August 2024

Not one of the best cenotes we visited, but it was only MX$30 so worth it. unique in being in town - parking easy but disappointed that they wanted to charge extra for using the changing room! Lots of steps down to the walk-in entrance (which was slippery and slightly difficult to use) or you can jump from various different heights. Not as special or magical as other cenotes - good restaurant on site and I believe if you'd eaten in the restaurant then your admission to the cenote would have been free.

Visiting Cenote Zaci was an incredible surprise with our Airbnb Adventure. I loved that it is in the center of town and easy to walk to. The cenote is incredible and relaxing to spend hours in. I loved jumping from the sides as well. I recommend visiting low season or when less people

This was a good stop in Valladolid, it is in middle of town and a great spot. If you time your visit just right you can eat or drink something at the restaurant and then have free entrance to the cenote. We had lunch and the food was really good as was the service.

It’s a partially open cenote conveniently located in the middle of town. Entrance cost was very reasonable at only 30 pesos pp and because it’s located in town, I thought it would be super busy and not as nice as others cenotes, but we were pleasantly surprised here and actually enjoyed it over a few others in Valladolid. The water was so refreshing and we would definitely recommend you checking this cenote out :)

This cenote is right in the middle of Valladolid and probably as a consequence of this it was pretty busy when we visited. It was by far our least favourite of the cenotes we visited as it is less beautiful and more crowded than the others. However, at with an entry fee of just 35pesos what have you got to lose if you are staying in Valladolid?

We took adavantage of the restaurant while the cenote was closed. There is significant construction going on around it to provide more tourist experience and entertainment, Supposed to be complete by April/May 2022. We had a wonderful guacamole and the famous Valladolid Lomitos (grilled pork pieces in a tomato sauce). Both were tasty and we would reorder again. Service was pleasant. Cost was about 350pesos including several beer. It will get busy once construction is complete. By buying food or drink you can avoid the fee for using the cenote.

Nice cenote in the middle of Valladolid. It is near to the market. So it is nice to go to the market and then take a dip. When we were there not many people were there and water was pretty clear. Strangely they did not require a shower to wash of unnatural sunscreen, etc.

We visited Chichen-Itza in the morning and stopped for lunch in Valladolid. This cenote was close by and cheap (30 pesos!) so we decided to stop by. Wow! We got here at about 2pm on a Tuesday and there weren't that many people. Loved the fact that it's half exposed! We visited a more popular and expensive cenote after (Xkeken and Samula) and we all preferred this one! Go if you're in town!
