The two cenotes are a good hangover cure. What I did not like is that the guys at the parking lot lied to us about the possibility to jump from a higher spot. It is completely forbidden. For 90$ you can see both, but there...More

Amazing cenotes - went to both xkenken and Samula (right next to each other) 90 pesos for both. However, beware area prior to cenotes opening (before and after ticket booth) littered with sellers and local people trying to sell guides / photos. Also no signs...More

Very good cenote, although the rest of the park premises seemed a little shabby. Saamal Cenote (aka Selva Maya Hacienda), which is the first cenote off the main road is better than these two, and the grounds are more classy and clean. No lockers or...More

The cenote is cool and you will see many pictures of it. There is the option to pay for 2 or 1, 90 or 60 pesos. You can swim in them, both are pretty similar now, since the ones in Samula doesn't reach the bottom....More

It was quite the experience! 60 pesos per adult, or you can visit two cenotes (Sumala and Xkeken) for 90 pesos. They are different. Sumala is breathtaking, and Xkeken is almost completely closed except for a small opening, and you can observe bat colonies (don't...More

It says 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Not sure how tightly they adhere to that. Seems like we were there a bit later than 5:00 pm and no one kicked us out.
