Really busy place, but a wonderful experience. Bring your swimsuit, and a camera that adjusts to dark light. Very safe for climbing down and up, just beautiful.

There are two cenotes on this site, both similar, but we felt that nr. 1 was the better of the two. Both are full subterranean caverns with underground lake, stalactites etc. but in nr. 1 they have installed a stone walkway out to a platform...More

I was in awe when I saw the cenote. I had never been to one before, so it was pretty amazing for me. You were able to take pictures and even swim in the water. The only annoying part were the vendors. I have a...More

Interesting cenote, great photo shots. Has changing rooms, small snack bar with chips, soda, etc. Swimming in cenote is a fun experience, bring your own towels.

I had only been to Ik Kil cenote before and I wanted to try something different. Needless to say that this was an awesome cenote! It's different from Ik Kil because it's underground. You also cannot jump or dive into the water because it isn't...More

Stopped here on our way back from chichen itza. It was the best part of our tour. Decending down into the cave was exciting and swimming in the refreshing water was one of my favorite parts of our excursion.

I'm told that sometime more than five years ago Suytun Conote was discovered by a farmer who saw a hole in the ground. Putting his ear to the hole, he heard water. With dynamite, they opened the hole to reveal what you see today. We...More
