Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The Riverside Miniature Railway is a treat for adults and children alike! Built with support from the two St Neots Rotary Clubs and others,the railway operates on Sundays throughout the summer and occasionally on Saturdays, too (see their website for details). The circuit winds through part of the Riverside park, starting at the station, which is close to the children's play area and the Ambiance cafe (also very popular and highly recommended). A special carriage with wheelchair access and room for two accompanying people is available - probably a good idea to contact them in advance (01480 217037). Various locomotives run on the circuit, including a steam engine and from time to time 'visiting locomotives'.The staff are friendly and helpful - good ambassadors for our town. Car parking is nearby next to the river bridge. Highly recommended!

I went on the miniature Railway today with my daughter, her husband and my two grandchildren!! It was wonderful! Firstly I suffer from Bad Arthritis and didn't think I would get to have a ride, but my son in law asked if I could! They were very kind and said they have a special carriage called access a belle, to help, they didn't make a fuss, just bought it out and hooked it up, it had a side entrance with a ramp, a seat at each end with space for a wheelchair in between! They made sure I was safely in, and off we set! It is a superb little railway, they have even put animals every so often along the track for the children to spot going around!! It also has a lovely willow tunnel,and I thoroughly enjoyed it as did all of us!! They have a stall outside with things to buy after, at reasonable rates not too expensive to help fund the railway! Like Thomas the tank Engine and Friends which some were bought for my grandsons! Everyone was kind, helpful, happy and friendly, and it's cheap!! It's A very good and worthwhile and enjoyable ride! I would definitely recommend a visit!!

We took our grandchildren on the railway today. They loved it. Super little park and setting. Railway well looked after and run by friendly enthiasts. It was only £1 per person for the train and the car park was reasonable too at less than a £1 for 3 hours. Looking forward to spending the day there again in the summer when the weather is better with a picnic. Could also walk along the river, feed the ducks and use the play area!

This has been an asset to the beautiful expanse of the Riverside Park in St Neots.
All work carried out by volunteers who have worked hard to get sponsorship for this mini railway. Complete with station and a circular track, the engines are a joy for both young and old. Visiting trains sometimes use the track and at weekends there is always a overalled group of engine enthusiasts with greasy hands showcasing their pride and joy!
A well run, special place. Well worth a visit.

Excellent miniature railway with 10 model animals to spot as you go around. Very cheap and ideal for families. Includes inclusive accessible carriage for wheelchairs. Probably the best thing to do in St Neots.

Neat little attraction. A while before it,s complete but that doesn't take the shine of an excellent visitor attraction

Last time I visited the track was only half complete but since then they’ve finished the full circular track. Our young children and we love this. It’s a short ride, but two complete circuits for £1 each (under 2’s are free) through the woods and little tunnel - is amazing value.
Clearly run by friendly enthusiasts, we’re lucky to have this virtually on our doorstep.
Situated as it is next to rivers and ponds with plenty of ducks to feed, a well stocked cafe with outdoor seating and a children’s adventure playground, you can have a lovely family afternoon/day out for very little cost.

==Notes==
I went here because my Dad likes steam trains and he was hoping to see one. He needed a little help getting there.
I was feeling a little cynical because, well, it's not a cool idea, is it.
==Positives==
This is an amazing little resource
Put together by a small community, they have transformed a neglected part of the Riverside Park into something creatives
Well structured
The train ride takes people around a little loop a couple of times. The ride was 5 minutes.
The staff (volunteers?) -- of whom there are loads -- were all really friendly and attentive
==More notes==
This is still a work in progress
The team there is still laying track and landscaping
==Conclusions==
This is a really lovely little feature for the town
I walked away totally embarrassed by my prior cynicism

A wonderful asset to St Neots, built entirely by volunteers. Located on Riverside Park, car park, toilets and cafe located nearby. Costs just £1 for a ride, wonderful for young and old.
