Brilliant vegan sharing platter
Aug 2021
Amazing service from Manor Farm's bakes and cakes. Provided a wide range of vegan options for a sharing platter which was great value. Everything home made and it all tasted incredible. Really impressed with the quality of food and how accommodating they were. Easy to arrange and book the food via Facebook and a simple collection on the day. Will definitely be returning.

So much potential
Aug 2020 • Friends
Firstly this place has so much potential! It is a brilliant idea.
Positives:Free area for walking, small woodland, attempt at childrens area, homemade seesaw free off road parking, carriage idea is genius, food in tearoom is delicious, flexible about payment, nice wooden signs, benches dotted around
Negatives: Toilet is in a caravan and described by my friend as "for emergencies only". If you are serving sit down food I believe you need to offer a proper toilet preferably with running water, maybe a small composting affair in its own little shed? Musty smell in the carriage, possibly as not being as frequently used currently but easy to fix. Bit of attention to play area, couple of broke spatulas in kitchen and go kart which wouldnt go. Entrance, you have to drive past worksheds etc with old cars maybe some screening would help?

I understand this is a free facility and its a great idea just needs a bit of tlc to make it fantastic. Perhaps an honesty shop would help with funds?

A lovely nature walk where your sure to see something interesting. The owner too is so very nice and helpful. I look forward to coming back and tasting his wife's home made baking. Good luck to them both they are doing something so very good for our local community. Thank you.

Lovely
Aug 2020 • Family
Found this through a quick Google search for walk near me when camping not too far away. Beautiful place, nice easy flat walk, and the guy that owns the place and has opened it up for people to enjoy came out on our arrival and gave us a run down of the history of the land and the incredible plans for its future.

Relaxing peaceful woodlands
Oct 2019
I had heard about this woodland walk through Facebook and decided to go and find it and see what everyone is raving about. Along with my friend we visited the Woodlands walk. We had an amazing guided tour by Alan who showed us all the walks and some very interesting information about the wildlife that they have returning there and the trees that are growing there. Alan is clearly very passionate about his venture, he has lots of plans to add to the facilities. We wish him all the very best for making his dreams come true. Not only is this a beautiful place to visit, its relaxing and you wouldn’t believe from the road this was there for everyone to come and enjoy and see all the hard work that goes into keeping this woodland safe for us to visit and attracts the wildlife to keep returning. We had a lovely cup of tea in the railway carriage that is beautifully hidden away between the trees. Can’t wait to go back for another walk through the woodlands. Please make a special trip there and see for yourself how beautiful the walks are. Suitable for all ages and dogs on leashes are also very welcomed.

A lovely way to spend a few hours.
Sep 2019 • Friends
This farm, converted to a nature reserve is a lovely place to get away from it all for a while. It has an old railway carriage which serves as a very cute tearoom and the home made cheese scone and carrot chutney were delicious. The cakes looked amazing but sadly I had no room left after the scone!! The family who own the woodland walks are clearly passionate and rightly proud of what they have achieved here and Alan gives a guided tour of the woodland and farmland walk around the site for first time visitors. Easy to find, good parking and dog friendly this was a really pleasant place to visit in the countryside if the Fens. Do take cash though as there is no card machine there at present.

Lovely walk finished with tea and cakes
Aug 2019
This is a real hidden gem, a lovely nature reserve with a friendly owner who will give new visitors a guided tour. Then to finish, a visit to the lovely little railway carriage for tea and delicious cakes!

The owners have fabulous plans to expand their eco-business with camping/glamping in the future. I can't wait to visit again.

Pleasant rural ramble - with cake!
Sep 2019 • Friends
We went with a group and were shown around by the owner, who also shared his frustration with the local council for thwarting his ambitions for expansion, including clamping. It is just a pleasant unspoiled place to stroll around, with a variety of wildlife encouraged, including voles and muntjac deer. We had tea, cakes and scones in the nineteenth century railway carriage - all home made and delicious. Well worth phoning to arrange a visit.

Truly wonderful idyllic place
Aug 2019 • Friends
Visited on Bank holiday for late breakfast.... fantastic! Then had a very informative tour of the woodland by the owner. He has created a wonderful area of woodland on what was a working arable farm. The whole experience would be great for children with an abundance of wildlife and a play area. You can book afternoon teas but can just turn up and still enjoy tea and cakes!! Go... you wont be disappointed!!
