Lovely woodland walk with some nice views. We used a map, but you could just wander through the woods on the pathways.

This is a fun walk for Adults and kids, the Edge is an interesting place to visit. The car park usually has a granelli's icecream van so plan for that after your walk. There is also the Wizard and tea rooms for refreshments.

Easy to park by the side of the road. Paths well signposted. Wonderful views on the Edge. Really well maintained. Perfect for long or short walks or just a picnic.

We were expecting the woodland to be much larger and were anticipating a good long walk; it is surprisingly small and we covered the place in an hour or so. However, it is a really lovely place to visit and the walks gentle and picturesque....More

There is car park next to the trails. Looking over the edge can see for miles. Over to manchester and the airport. Also macclesfield / darbyshire. We parked at hare hill a national trust property and walked to the wizard from there.

First visit here to enjoy a shaded 2 hour circular walk following the wizard walk. Unfortunately it would appear that someone had stolen most of the little colour themes walk way signs which made them impossible to follow without previous knowledge of the area. It...More

Hi- this walk is as long or as short as you want it to be and trails are all marked. Ours took us an hour and a half. Best to use the large National Trust car park as we did. There are toilets there too. Enjoy your walk... More

I am unsure what the two points are from and to. We just walked the path from car park to the edge. It’s not far. There are a few walks but not more than a few miles

Sorry, not sure, as we are NT members. Parking (free) available on left hand side before or in front of The Wizard Inn.
