    Crewe Hall spa day
I took my Mum and Sister for a Spa day with the light lunch, Beth who did my massage and express facial was wonderful, I felt so relaxed afterwards and my face was glowing! We made use of the Steam and Sauna rooms and the Jacuzzi after! The lunch in The Brasserie was not up to pa tho, the food was ok but we waited a long time for it to come and it was not busy at all , two women actually walked out with out their dessert…. Over all Very good value for money tho !

    Disappointing
Grounds stunning. Car parking no issues. Reception staff really rude - Lorraine in particular. Guests aren't directed to their rooms, given information on the hotel, breakfast time, location etc. You're checked in rudely and then handed a piece of paper with "directions" to your room. Reception staff couldn't even be bothered to properly direct guests to the lifts, causing at least three sets of guests having to come back and ask again which clearly embarrassed them. Room was in the original section of the hotel. Duct tape on rips in the carpet. Wall paper peeling. Behind the TV hadn't been dusted in months/years. The shower was mouldy. There wasn't a mirror that could be used without standing up (not a great 'getting ready' room ladies - bring your mirror from home). Overall really disappointing. There's historical/original and then there's old/dirty and unfortunately this hotel falls into the latter category. Wouldn't return.

    Comfortable & easy stay.
I found the room cold, so played around with the heating to warm the place up a bit, but it was during the January cold spell. Friendly staff, good breakfast and comfortable bed. I used the gym in the morning, again the staff were friendly and it was easy to use. Easy parking. A comfortable trip.

    Very small, grubby and disappointing
This isn't really a 'spa'. This is a hotel pool with a steam room and sauna, with some treatment rooms added to enable them to call it a spa. The hotel guests are able to use these facilities, so there were families with children in the pool area which was slightly annoying when you pay for a relaxing spa day. It was grubby, at no point were there any cleaners mopping at the pool sides, visitors were shown around in their outdoor shoes, and the jacuzzi barely fits 2 people in it. There was no cold water available to drink (except for immediately after the treatment which is in a separate section), just a lukewarm fountain. No other offers of drinks or any kind of hospitality. I had a facial which was lovely, no complaints about the treatment (although the booking did get mixed up and the form I filled in on arrival at Reception never made it to the therapist). We had afternoon tea with as part of our spa day, which we assumed would be close to the spa area. Wrong! When asking the spa reception where we needed to go, she looked in horror at us in our robes and said we needed to go to the main building and needed to be fully dressed. In other words, after the afternoon tea if we wanted to return to the spa, we would have to put our wet swimwear back on!! Erm no thank you. Luckily by chance (as this was not mentioned before), we booked the afternoon tea for 3pm, so we decided not to return to the spa and that was the end of our day. There were 3 of us, but on arrival at the afternoon tea room there was only a booking for one of us. They did fit the 3 of us in, but with a poor attitude. When the food arrived, the sandwiches we very stale and almost crispy as though it had been sat out for a while. The main Crewe Hall building is absolutely beautiful, but I would certainly not recommend booking just for a spa day. Very disappointing.

Had the best day at Crewe hall, I booked here as a Mother’s Day gift and we both loved it, everything from the checking in, to the light lunch and use of the facilities was great. We thoroughly enjoyed it and was super relaxed afterwards!

A lovely relaxing spa day.
We went on a Friday, which wasn't particularly busy. After having 2 lovely treatments we enjoyed a very tasty lunch in the Brasserie.
We were looked after extremely well by a lovely lady called Sarah, who went out of her way to make sure we all had everything we needed.
Thank you Sarah, and all the staff at the spa.
We will definitely be coming back

We booked as a couple to attend here for a spring discount "Spa Day" which was 1300-1700, 50 minute treatment, a light lunch with Prosecco and use of the spa facilities. From arrival we were very disappointed. You drive up to a massive listed building.....then go to the right, behind it, further away to a car park which sits outside what can only be described as a modern gym. Walked in to reception, paid, got changed and then went for our treatments. Massage was absolutely spot on, no complaints (Bee?). After the massage we went for a light lunch....had to wait 45 minutes because the waitress forgot to ticket our food with the chefs. They apologised and we got a glass on the house. Went back to the facilities to unwind....jacuzzi is luke warm and fits no more than 3 people MAX. Sauna and steam room are tiny. One large pool being overlooked by people working out on a treadmill. To top it off, a lady walked in with a child jumping in and out of the pool with armbands on. This was a genuine farce. It s a "Nuffield Health" gym, with a massage parlour on site. I should have complained on site, but just wanted to get home. Stayed no more than 3 hours......and nearly 2.5 hours was a massage and waiting for lunch. If you want a lovely spa experience or relaxing break, please do not go here. Just go to a Pure Gym. £148 completely wasted.

Awful experience, no more luxurious than the council pool, noisy scruffy tiles and badly lit gave a depressing way to relax tiny hot tub with screeching conversations pool filled with entitled swimmers pushing you sideways in the waves, not a relaxing way to spend a birthday

We had a great time at Crewe Hall. This was our 2nd time there and again it didn't disappoint us. We both enjoyed ourselves. The lady who checked us in was very nice and informative. The room was amazing, the hotel grounds are spectacular. Breakfast was great. We spent the evening at the pool which was nice and relaxing. We will be back again in the future :)

I booked a spa day for my sisters birthday as a surprise. We attended with my 2 daughters as well and what an absolutely fabulous day we had! From booking in, using the leisure facilities, having lunch and prosecco and finally having the most amazing massage done by Chloe.

When we went for our lunch, Supervisor Sarah was very attentive and nothing was too much trouble for her including taking some photos for and with us.

We all had such a fab day. We can't wait to do it again.

My sister and I went for afternoon tea to celebrate our birthdays!
We were greeted by Peter who treated us like V.I.P’s he was lovely and so attentive. He took us for a little tour and his knowledge of the history of the hall was amazing. I can highly recommend this experience. The hall is simply breathtakingly beautiful.
Thank you for a wonderful afternoon. We shall book again and I can highly recommend the delicious selection of sandwiches and cakes. The choice of tea was superb too!

Friends and I went to the spa yesterday. What a fantastic day we had.
I had a back, neck and shoulder massage by Julie. She was amazing. I asked for a deep tissue massage and thats what i got!!! She was brilliant, all my aces and pains gone. Highly recommend .
And for the rest of the day, perfect. Left very chilled and relaxed!
