The building and facilities look jaded and in dire need of a refurbish, it was all a bit adhoc with no clear directional routes around. The food in cafe was really limited, we... read more

Bought a shark dive for my husband for Christmas. The whole experience was great. He got taken off by his dive instructor and I was looked after by Steph. My husband has only had one experience of diving before and that wasn't very successful. The first thing he said when he came out was the divers made him feel very... More

This is just such a depressing and dreadful place. It smells appalling, is dirty and in dire need of a total overhaul. Having visited the Ripley facility in Toronto I was looking forward to showing my grandson the joys of an aquarium visit. This place is a total disgrace and a complete waste of money. Do not bother visiting. Dirty... More

Our last visit to Blue Planet was 5 years ago and we had a lovely day out. Today's visit was a different story- it is very expensive for the amount of time you can spend there and the place is looking tired and needs updating. Exhibits could be better and more interactive for the kids. On top of this, they... More

Visited with my son on Friday during his half term. Wouldn't say it's value for money and would be a bit disappointed if I had paid full price for both of us (he got in free so paid £17 for an adult) plus £2.50 parking!!! Only too, about an hour to walk the aquarium although we did watch the aqua... More

The building and facilities look jaded and in dire need of a refurbish, it was all a bit adhoc with no clear directional routes around. The food in cafe was really limited, we had 2 gluten free people in our party and the one went without any food the other had a banana. There were no other healthy options!! We... More

Great day out for any ages. Great variety of animals. Well presented inside.thoroughly enjoyed watching the divers feed the fish. Otter enclosure was slightly disappointing though. Bit shocked to find you had to pay for parking onsite as well. But overall good.

This visit came with a groupon voucher with a nearby stay and after having looked on tripadvisor beforehand and some of the recent poor reviews I was feeling a little unsure of the visit with our 12 year old! However, we thoroughly enjoyed our visit and found the facilities excellent! How they've got such poor reviews I just don't know.... More

We've been before but not for a few years. This is now a tired and over-priced attraction that is in serious need of investment. Nothing seemed to have changed since our last visit three years ago, with the exception of the prices have gone up and some sections were no longer open to the public. We are big fans of... More

Very expensive for limited attractions available. We spent one and half hours here not 2 to 3 like suggested on website. Won't be returning in a hurry as not much variety and many attractions under refurbishment, so it says

Been here a few times and each time felt underwhelmed with the experience. I mean it's ok for a quick trip but I wouldn't base my day around it. I feel that you can get better value for money elsewhere. However the staff are always friendly and helpful.
