Great afternoon out for 2 adults. Interesting displays, helpful and knowledgable staff who seemed to really care about the fish/animals. Thoroughly enjoyed the moving walkway through the shark tank!!

Really good displays with lots of variety. Stingray feeding in the aqua theatre was a great addition and the shark tunnel really impressive.
Downsides definitely the entrance fee, then charging extra for car parking and the cafe. Food was awful, huge queue, dirty seating area and massively overpriced.

Paid £59 for 2 adults, 1 child and a free toddler and car parking. It was a tenner cheaper than going to Chester Zoo but we left wishing we paid the extra tenner for the zoo because we could have made a day of the zpp but we got round Blue Planet Aquarium in an hour n half. Extremely overpriced for what it is we definitely won't be visiting again unless they slash their prices by at least 50%.

Waited 35 minutes for 3 bags of chips!! Table next to us waited the same for one kids meal! Asked for sauce and given 2 ketchup sachets. No cutlery around. No tuna baguettes and didnt offer to make us one which shouldnt take long seen as it is a popular baguette filling. Expensive food and drinks and gifts. Expensive entrance when youre in and out in less than hour. Jellyfish not there like before either.

Some impressive fish. Exceptional poor value for money. Floors in need of repair. Grandchildren enjoyed the shark tunnel. Would not recommend and wouldn't visit again.

I personally feel the charge of 20 pound entrance fee for an adult is overpriced for this attraction.

The cafe is majorly over priced (£2.75 for a bottle of coke) and the food quality poor for prices charged.

The gift shop is extortinate for cheap tat.

The small rides inside for young children are also not cheap.

They also charge for the car park.

The best part is the shark tunnell.

Overall a very expensive day and not worth money spent but children had nice time.

Won't return.

There are quite a few reviews here stating the attraction only takes a short while to look around and therefore some wouldn't consider it good value for money. However, this isn't the case, yes, it may not take a full day to visit, but it is a great place to spend a few hours to enjoy and experience all it has to offer. If you just rush round look at the animals then move onto the next ones it won't take long, but its about what you make of the experience, take the time to not just look at the animals but observe their behaviours, read and learn about them on the info boards, talk about them, ask the staff questions, experience one of the feeds/shows etc then you can easily ensure you get the most out of your experience here.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and came home after a few hours feeling it had been a great day out and worth the admission cost.
The aquatheatre and the walk through tunnel with sharks and stingrays swimming above and beside you was the highlight of our visit as well as watching the divers handfeed them during the diver presentation show, but all the other exhibits were also full of interesting species to see.

Staff were so friendly and helpful to answer any questions and it was nice to see the aquarists available in the rockpool area engaging with guests and answering questions etc. it is clear to see how passionate they are about the animals and they are well cared for by the team.

The onsite gift shop is fairly large and has a wide choice of ocean themed gifts and souvenirs, it is quite pricey, some items are quite expensive, however there are budget friendly keyrings, magnets, badges and pocket money items too.

Overall, a great, educational experience.

Who doesn't love staring at various fish - huge & bulky, tiny & sparkly, the one that looks like Dory, stingrays, starfish, piranhas, blue, red, yellow ones...you name it!

Definitely a fun day out! If you're visiting sans kids (like me), then I would recommend to come during the day on a weekday - it was fairly quiet and enjoyable!

Visited Blue Planet Aquarium and paid £85.15. Website states 2-3 hours to view but it takes no more than 45 mins. Highly disappointing to spend so much for a small aquarium and website give wrong impression with misleading images. Need my refund #deepseaworld #blueplanetaquarium

We spent £58 for only a 20 minute experience. Wouldn’t recommend. Also all the fish were cramped so not great.
