Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.

Kids love it here, food is lovely at times, also isn’t pricey like other soft play. Always enjoy coming here.

I held my daughters birthday party here and I was incredibly disappointed and embarrased. The desk was empty the majority of the time and parents were waiting long stretches of time just to order a cup of tea. We had to go searching for staff in the pub area to help. Many parents reported that the staff were rude and the service was slow just to get a hot drink and when they were finally able to order one, they were not given milk and sugar and they were told to go and search for them from other parents. The milk for tea and coffee was served in a small plastic cup and we were told to share it amongst us. We were given no information about what was going on and no direction whatsoever. The food was slow to serve. We were then told to go and gather up the children ourselves. I would have expected a microphone announcement. Instead I had to shout up to the children. Of course they couldn't really hear me so I had to enlist the help of the parents and climb through the soft play myself to collect them all. There was no special seat for the birthday girl. The food was just wheeled in on a a trolley and left near the table. The children had to select their meal choice as part of the invitation reply. We handed in the list to the staff when the party was confirmed. I would therefore expect that they would either hand out the meals by calling the names of the children or use name cards. Instead I had to try to figure out who ordered what and serve all the food myself. Of course most kids couldn't remember what they ordered. I then went to ask for the list of names with food choices that I had given in. Of course the desk was empty again so I went searching for someone behind the desk. The man I found immediately reprimanded me for going behind the desk and when I tried to ask for the list, he kept repeating over and over again that I couldn't be behind the desk and wouldn't listen to what I was saying until moved back to the other side.I totally understand I am not supposed to be behind the desk but what choice did I have when the staff were missing and I had no idea who to distribute the food to? I was feeling enormously stressed and embarrassed at this point. Considering the food was already late, I needed someone to help me quickly and to speak to me the way he did was shocking. While the kids were eating their dinner, we were told that they had forgotten to defrost the cake (the cake was supposed to be included in the package). They managed to 'find' one apparantly and we were told we could have a discount for the inconvenience (first good customer service we received for the party) but then later had to remind them that they had offered this when they gave us the full bill at the end. At 10 minutes before the party ended I had to push them to bring out the ice cream. By this point the kids had finished some time ago and were getting impatient to go back and play. I asked them to bring out the cake immediately after the ice cream especially since we had little time left. I was told they don't normally bring the cake out at the same time as the ice cream. I asked them to make an exception since the service had been slow and the party was almost finished. The same rude guy from earlier starting saying that it has been difficult for them to deal with such a large party of kids. There were 21 in total and if this was too large for them to handle, they should have warned us upfront or put a limit on the number of children. I will never hold a party at Fuzzy Ed's again. It was an incredibly stressful experience. The whole point of paying someone to do a party for you as an all inclusive package is to take the stress out, not add to it.

Attached to the Salt Cellar pub, Fuzzy Ed's is a great place to spend a couple of hours with your young ones. Lots for them to do. Big climbing / soft play area and other activities for them. Loads of space for Adults to sit out of the way. Even go next door for a quick 'Coffee' ha. They will be safe in here. Give it a try..............

Grandkids loved it, kept them busy for a couple of hours. Room to sit and not too crowded. Entry price is ok but I feel the kids drinks could do with being a bit cheaper.

This playhouse is next to the Salt Cellar and meals can be served in Fuzzy Eds which stops tantrums. Otherwise there are drinks and snacks available. Daily there are different activities for pre school children. Well worth a visit.

I'll have to defer to my kids as they love this place for birthday parties. Usually the staff are very good, and the kids eat all the food. It's clean enough, has tables for the adults, and you can get an espresso from a real machine while you watch. What more do you want?

Good for the kids to play while you relax with a brew. The kids a re safe . You can book a party for kids also if you wish. The climbing area is ideal with a twisty slide, everything is padded so no danger of the kids hurting themselves.
