We called here between lockdowns whilst lots of social distancing measures were in place. This meant that a lot of the interactive exhibits could not be touched which was a shame but we understood why. It gave us a real appreciation of the preparations which were having to be made when the cold war was at its height. We enjoyed an interesting couple of hours here and it was nice to meet the "spy cat".

Well presented exhibition. Very thought provoking, especially if you have lived through the "Cold War" period. Only downside is the quality of some of the models / dummies. Some looked like they had been thrown into the exhibit and took reduced the impact of what they were meant to be demonstrating. Finished our tour with a drink and snack in the café, where there is a very very friendly cat!

Very interesting. Born in the early 60's I can remember some of the items being displayed. A large amount of Russian items, and loved the rat hunt for the children and not so young children. A great way to spend a couple of hours on a VERY wet Saturday.

This really is a must see - especially for those of us who lived through the Cold War! The owners have put together an incredible museum with an enormous amount of exhibits, including the bombs themselves! Covid 19 measures were excellent. We're coming back!!
