Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Sandbach Park is a pretty area and is great for a short walk. There is a small play park for young children, and a larger one for older kids to enjoy, and even an exercise area, as well as basketball courts, ping-pong tables and football goals. There are many activites available, which makes it a fun afternoon out for the whole family! A small coffee van frequently visits the park, and it serves a range of cakes and beverages of good quality. Despite this, the park has no permanant restaurant or café. It is often busy in summer, and events (such as Picnic in the Park) are occasionally hosted there.
The park's field can get very muddy in areas, especially in winter, although you can easily avoid the mud if you stick to the path.

Overall, Sandbach Park is fun for the whole family, but there are not enough activites available for an entire day out.

Great little park very convenient for Sandbach town with a good range of play equipment for all ages and even has a zip wire. Paved walk around the green area which means it’s a good place to visit even when it is/has been raining.

There is now a great coffee van in the park between 10am and 3pm every day except Tuesday making this a great place to go for a walk with the option of lovely tasting coffee, tea and cold drinks etc on the go plus brownies to die for. Search for Blackwater & Grubb for more information.

Great park with two playgrounds. Great to see familes and children playing on the playground again since the reopening. Visited there today with children. Sadly the usual irresponsible dog walkers can't read the signs that dogs are not allowed in the playground areas. I'm not interested in your flea ridden mutt and stop your dog using the playground as a toilet. It's unacceptable to allow your dog to urinate on equipment used by children.

I walk here on a lunchtime, it is very peaceful and I have the time to eat a butty and relax. there's not too much littering and the kids usually keep to the play areas and are polite.

This is a great asset to Sandbach, great place to wander around. The kids love it and if you are a dog owner great place to take them for a walk.

Well kept park. Good playgrounds for children of all ages. Sadly another place spoilt by dogs and their owners. Unfortunately the dog owners can't read signs which says keep dogs on leads and out of children's play areas.

My dog likes the walk around and the boardwalk. He also likes the ambience and to watch the bowls..I meet up with local folk for a chat plus catch up on issues of importance.

The lake stinks, has a weird film over the top of it and it’s full of litter. I suspect t any wildlife that once lived here moved on ages ago.
The park itself is ruined by packs of feral preteens and teens to the point that the play equipment is either broken or is in the process of being broken. In the summer months an ankle deep carpet of litter covers most of the grass, whilst dogs (not on leads) run riot.
It could be nice, if the locals had more respect for the town they live in.

Visited here with my grandson, lovely park with lots for a small child to do. My only critisism if that there is a notice saying dogs should be kept on a lead. There were lots of lose dogs and my grandson was knocked over by one.
