Didn't realise what a great park this was until explored with my daughter in the Easter hols. Big lake with ducks and swans galore. Kids play park with water play area too. Cafe, climbing wall, skateboard park, lovely flower beds, all very well kept. Didn't make it into the glass house this time, so we will have to visit again.

Just taken dogs for walk in park. The flower beds as you walk in the main gates towards the Cenotaph are excellent. The Gardeners have been working very hard and it shows

Whether you just want a stroll around the beautiful park, stopping to see the swans and ducks or, if you are accompanied by children, enjoy a game of 'footie' or watch them enjoy themselves in the excellent activity areas, it's a great way to spend your spare time and finish off with a nice picnic!

I have been many times to Victoria Park Widnes and feel that I need to let the local authority know what a little gem the Halton public have as a local park. It amases me how far people travel from adjacent towns (passing parks in their own towns to get here). Something plus a bit more for everyone.

This really is a lovely park with a variety of things for all types of children. Lots of field space for football, a park split into two one more suitable for small children U5 and one for older children, a splash area for the summer months (don't forget a change of clothes) plenty of benches, a nature trail, skate park,... I've walked through this park a lot. Its a really nice place. It has a big skate park, gardens and walking trails. They also do different fairs here and hold a park run of a Saturday.

We often walk around the park in all kinds of weather and it always has something to offer. The park has so many attractions. To name a few, there is a lake, tennis courts, lawn bowling climbing wall, skate board and bike area and a butterfly house. Well done to the council for keeping it so nice.

Thank hallicks
