We visited because we are both massive animal lovers and like the less commercialised places. To be honest we were unimpressed with the beginning exhibits as several people are saying - the first section is shabby, dated and there were empty displays etc. I was...More

Visited here with the missus, if it wasn't for the outdoor exhibits, the place would be a dive, the indoor part of it was pretty poor and boring although the ants carrying the bits of leaf is pretty cool to watch. The outdoor exhibits are...More

We went here with our 7 year old and 9 year old. First impressions were it wasn't that good but this quickly changed. There's a snow lepeord, monkeys, ring railed lema squirrels, meerkats plus lots more in the outside enclosures. Internally there's an area about...More

I recently paid the fairly expensive fee for my Great Nephew to have a Junior Zoo Keeper experience, it was however worth every penny. My Great Nephew (soon to be 11) is very particular in what he will and will not do and asks endless...More

If you love Meerkats - go here! A small wildlife park - I will not use the term "zoo" as all the animal are free and happy! Location very conveniently close to the A6 road. Wonderful place to visit

I did this last year... You visit all the animals (except the big cats). Tell him to be prepared to be covered in monkeys and lemurs! It Includes insects and reptiles too. It's a fantastic day. Hope this helps!
