Lovely collection of weaving exhibits (amongst lots of other artworks, crafts and jewellery). With no prior knowledge of weaving and, I confess, no particular desire to find out, it was actually really interesting to see the intricate machinery up close and get to have a...More

Easy walking distance from the town of Sedbergh. Fascinating displays and local craft work which is on sale and sometimes the crafts people are on site to see them working. A good restaurant on the bottom floor offers and good range of well-priced food.

Having been recommended to visit this Mill by the local Tourist office, we were somewhat taken aback in having to pay a entry fee. So declined to visit the interior and returned to the delightful town of Sedbergh.
