Well worth a visit for something different. Cafe was good too. Check for opening times, at it does close parts of the year. Planning a visit again soon. Free parking, you can get a woodland walk or beach visit too.

I took my daughter for meditation followed by a meal. It was the most relaxed and friendly experience I have had in a long time.

The staff are volunteers in the main, so service can be willing but not especially brisk. The menu doesn't often change. (I'm assuming that it ever changes, as... More

Tranquil, educational and so relaxing, this place is amazing. From the gardens surrounding the beautiful temple to the short walk through the forest to the beach, this place is so nice and highly recommended!

The food in the vegetarian cafe was fresh and exceptional value for money. The monks and staff were very welcoming . There was a free introduction to meditation in the temple at midday. The Priory is undergoing restoration but the Temple and grounds are very peaceful. A lovely day out and an insight into Buddhism.

This is a very special place to go for a spiritual holiday. As a practicing Kadampa, I try to come for a visit every couple of years.

I have known Manjushri for several years and seen several changes. The meditation centre stands on the former site of the old vegetable garden, and the grounds include a lovely sunken garden and the woodlands that lie between the building and the peaceful shoes of Morecambe Bay. The renovation and repair of the building continues, and if a tour is... More

Very good vegetarian cafe, lovely grounds where you can walk down to the estuary, and the temple is very peaceful.
