It might not be a big chain cinema but it's certainly one of the best. Cheaper than the big city ones, clean, big comfy seats, good sound and a decent food choice. You can even have a glass of wine if you fancy it!

Clean and very comfortable cinema but would definitely advise on pre-booking tickets. The only down side is overpriced confectionary

We love coming here on a rainy afternoon - luckily that happens on a regular basis in the Lakes. Good value much better than te Bue and always full of people so good atmosphere not like a ghost town experience!

Slightly cheaper than usual cinema prices. Clean and well presented. Staff are always helpful. Good choices of films with up to date and independent viewings such as theatre performances

We came here last month to watch Passengers. The cinema seems to be well maintained and the seats are always comfy. There are plenty of choices of food and drink in the shop area. The prices for tickets, food and drink may seem on the expensive side, but this cinema is independent and not a chain so they probably have... More

Easy free parking close by. Entrance is a bit tired, but more than adequate. No queuing required with pleasant ticket sellers. Usually choice of seats, but this afternoon the film we wanted to see was very quiet, so no seat allocation; just sit where you want. These must be the most comfortable seats of any cinema anywhere. Plenty of leg... More

Sadly the bar area that also served good coffee and teas with fresh milk has gone. You have to queue next to the ticket and snacks area. Not a good move. The staff are friendly and very helpful. Great customer service when customers have additional mobility needs etc. The seating is comfortable. The screenings are mainstream but the cinema continues... More

I went with my friends, all ages 15-16, all those that are 15 often get mistaken for older and somehow when we went to the cinema they refused to accept that any of us was over 15 (it was Blair witch, a 15 rated movie) except one, and we were a group of around 7! All of us look 15... More
